Thomas Benjamin joined Analytic Services Inc. as Vice President and Corporate Counsel in January 2005. He was appointed Acting Chief Operating Officer in May 2008.  Mr. Benjamin is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A.), the University of Illinois College of Law (J.D.), and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business (M.B.A.).

From 1985 to 2005, he served in a number of legal and executive positions at the Central Intelligence Agency, including Deputy Director for Legislation and Deputy General Counsel. He was a key member of the government–private sector team that established In-Q-Tel, Inc., a unique, award-winning nonprofit corporation chartered to apply innovative technology to the challenges of national security. During his last assignment at the CIA, Mr. Benjamin served concurrently as Director of the In-Q-Tel program and Deputy Director of the Office of Advanced Technologies and Programs. He was appointed to the Senior Intelligence Service in 1994, was selected as an Intelligence Fellow in 1995, and was awarded the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal in 2005.

Mr. Benjamin retired from the U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corps, after 27 years of service. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of Northwest Federal Credit Union and has served on the Intelligence Committee of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
