Mr. Bernard M. Kellett is responsible for more than 60 consultants who support information technology work for ANSER clients. His portfolio of work includes support for CIOs, application design and development, business process re-engineering, communications infrastructure analyses, and research into innovative technologies. Mr. Kellett is responsible for formulating policy, directing business development, developing proposals, and direct support of clients where appropriate.
Mr. Kellett received a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Bath (Avon) in the United Kingdom and a master of science degree in management from the University of Manchester Institute for Science and Technology. He completed the Advanced Staff Course of the Royal Air Force at Bracknell.
Mr. Kellett’s previous work included direct support for the Air Force CIO organization as one of ANSER’s division managers. He was a key member of the Global Combat Support System–Air Force Requirements Integration Tiger Team that helped formulate the strategic direction of Air Force information technology toward a web-based, message-oriented environment that would reach back into industry and forward into the operational environment to support the warfighter. Mr. Kellett subsequently supported the Air Force CIO Systems and Technology Directorate. From 1999 to 2000, he was an ANSER analyst supporting the Global Combat Support System–Air Force Requirements Integration Directorate.
From 1974 to 1999, Mr. Kellett served as a supply officer in the Royal Air Force, retiring with the rank of wing commander. During his Royal Air Force career, Mr. Kellett focused primarily on applying information technology to logistics business processes, refining those business processes, and implementing financial management processes. He also developed metrics and information to support more efficient management of Air Force resources and the more effective implementation of air power. He was selected as an exchange officer with the U.S. Air Force and supported the Air Force Warfighting Integration–Installation & Logistics Directorate in developing policy for Air Force logistics information technology systems. |
